Why
to come to Lúčky in
the spring?
 |
In the spring, when the snow have melded and the ground dries
out, one can do a lot of things in Liptov. E.g.:
- directly from the village one can make a trip up to the peak
of Veľký Choč (1607 m), the highest peak of the Choč
Hills, where beautiful panorama of neighboring mountains can be
seen (e.g. Small and Big Fatra, Western and Low Tatra). The whole
trip takes approx. 6 hours, details

- in the neighborhood are the gems of Slovakia nature - Roháče
and Roháčske Lakes, Western Tatra, Prosiecka and Kvačianska
valleys
- one can ride a bike in the neighborhood (e.g. around the
Liptovská Mara dam)
